We're a volunteer group of motorcycle riders dedicated to transporting critical medical supplies — eye tissue for transplant, mother's milk, prescriptions, and more — swiftly and safely across our communities.
What We Do
Our goal is to ensure that critical medical resources reach their destinations swiftly and safely — when they're needed, however urgent, and wherever conventional transport isn't a practical option.
Why It Matters
Hospitals and healthcare facilities often struggle to get urgent deliveries when traditional options are unavailable. Bloodbikes NZ fills this gap — providing a reliable, free volunteer service to ensure that eye tissue, mother's milk, and other essential medical items reach their destinations safely and on time, when conventional transport just isn't practical.
Our goal is to support the healthcare system and the well-being of our communities by ensuring that no one is left waiting for the help they need.
And because our riders are volunteers, every run we complete is money that stays in the healthcare system — spent on patients and care, not commercial courier fees.
Who We're Looking For
Right now we're gauging interest from motorcycle riders and potential healthcare clients. As we grow, we'll also need coordinators, event planners, and fundraising help.
We're seeking experienced, enthusiastic and reliable motorcyclist volunteers who are passionate about making a difference. If you have a love for riding and a commitment to community service, we'd love to hear from you.

We're here to support the public health system and the communities it serves — free of charge, always. We're not here to replace commercial courier arrangements, but to fill the gaps they can't.
